iSeries (AS/400) - Disaster Recovery - Testing
Having a good detailed plan is important to disaster recovery, but having a plan that has been tested is critical.
ATS's consultants will work through your existing Disaster Recover plan, testing all aspects from contact numbers through to loading your data, applications and establishing access. As we work through the plan we record any discrepancies, errors or issues. We also note any improvements for your consideration. ATS can carry out this task independently or work with your staff, helping them to gain experience and knowledge.
As part of the process we produce a report detailing areas and procedures that worked well and those that did not. We recommend changes and improvements where we feel they are required and attend a post Disaster Recovery test meeting to discuss the report, its findings, recommendations and conclusions.
