Description

This course provides an introduction to IBM WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.

Students will gain conceptual knowledge of WebSphere Commerce Accelerator's features, functions, and user interface.

The students will be introduced to the various menu choices and roles associated with both the Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business to Consumer (B2C) views in WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.

This course covers both Business and Professional Editions.

After completing this course, student should be able to:

o Describe the WebSphere Commerce V5.4 product including its features, functions, and purposes.
o Describe the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator tool including its features, functions, purposes and user interface elements.
o Describe the Store menu's features, functions, options and responsibilities by role.
o Perform Store menu procedures and tasks.
o Describe the Marketing menu's features, functions, options and responsibilities by role.
o Perform Marketing menu procedures and tasks.
o Describe Merchandising/Product Menu's features, functions, options and responsibilities by role.
o Perform Merchandising menu procedures and tasks.
o Describe the Sales menu (B2B only) functions (accounts, contracts and RFQ's).
