iSeries (AS/400) Performance Tuning & Capacity Planning

Introduction

This three day course provides delegates with the knowledge to carry out performance tuning on an iSeries using all of the performance facilities, and to identify and analyse any performance problems that may be occurring.

• State the capabilities of the Performance Tools on the iSeries, and choose the correct tools to use for analysis.

This course is designed for technical support personnel responsible for analysing performance and carrying out capacity planning on the iSeries.

Pre-requisites

Delegates must be familiar with work management on the iSeries, and should attend the iSeries WORK MANAGEMENT course some weeks prior to this course, following up with a period of practical work.
