Description
This course teaches students how to install, configure, and maintain IBM WebSphere
Application Server V5.0 Base and Express Editions for the iSeries. They will
also learn how to install and deploy Java (J2EE) applications in a single machine
configuration.
Audience
This course is designed for System Administrators who need to install, configure,
and maintain iSeries systems using WebSphere Application Server V 5.0 Base and
Express
Prerequisites
Before attending this course, the student should have experience of an operating
system such Windows, UNIX/Linux or OS/400, see remarks
Remarks
Though not essential, an understanding of e-business technologies such as Webservers,
Java, XML and web based
application architectures will be useful background for this course. Attending
either EB921GB or EB931GB will
provide this.
